Junma at 20: Two Decades of Trust, Technology, and Tenacity
In 2005, Junma began as a small workshop founded by Mr. Ma Yulin, a marine engine expert who left his secure public post in the 1980s to pursue excellence abroad.
Armed with deep technical expertise and an unshakable belief in service quality, he built Junma on one simple conviction — that technology should serve people, and great service should exceed expectations.
From a Workshop to a Global Network
Over the past two decades, Junma has grown from a modest technical outfit into a global marine engineering service network headquartered in Singapore, with strategic presences in Shanghai (2018) and Guangzhou (2021).
Our team of engineers and specialists now supports vessels around the world, ensuring that every ship sails on schedule — safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
Along this journey, Junma earned authorizations from multiple major engine manufacturers (since 2008) and built a reputation for precision, reliability, and responsiveness.
Leading the Decarbonization Wave
As the shipping industry moves toward decarbonization, Junma has not stood still.
We introduced the eVIT Partial Load Optimization technology, a smart solution that enhances combustion timing and efficiency — saving 15–20% in fuel while improving Carbon Intensity Index (CII) performance.
Our clients typically achieve a full return on investment within a year, combining economic and environmental value.
In 2023, Junma launched dual-fuel engine training programs, preparing our partners for the future of clean-energy vessels.
Through innovation, data insights, and continuous learning, we aim to empower a greener, more intelligent maritime world.
A Recognition from CCTV: “The Craftsman’s Way”
This year, as Junma celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are deeply honored that CCTV’s “The Craftsman’s Way (匠心之路)” has chosen to tell our story —
“Using Technology to Deliver Value Beyond Expectation.”

We see this documentary not just as a recognition, but as the best birthday gift — a tribute to every engineer, partner, and client who has been part of this voyage.
Looking Ahead
From the first cylinder overhaul to today’s global network of intelligent marine services, one thing remains unchanged — our belief that technology, when guided by craftsmanship and care, can change the world one voyage at a time.
Here’s to the next twenty years —
of innovation, sustainability, and refined excellence.
